Getting started

The fastest path from HEIC to a usable JPG

01

Open the converter

Start on the main HEIC to JPG tool.

02

Select your files

Drag in HEIC photos or choose them from your device.

03

Download the output

Save the converted JPG files when processing finishes.

HEIC works well inside Apple’s ecosystem, but JPG is still safer for websites, forms, client uploads, and older Windows workflows.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and the shortest useful fix

Files won't upload or convert
  • Confirm you're using a current browser version.
  • Check that the file is actually `.heic` or `.heif`.
  • Refresh the page and try the same file again.
  • Close heavy tabs if the browser is low on memory.
Conversion is slow
  • Large files and batch jobs take longer on low-memory devices.
  • Try smaller batches if you are converting hundreds of photos.
  • Use the dedicated batch converter for bulk workflows.
  • Avoid background tasks that compete for CPU or RAM.
Download isn't working
  • Check your browser's download permissions.
  • Make sure local download prompts are not being blocked.
  • Try a different browser if the same file repeatedly fails.
  • Confirm the device still has available storage space.
Quality looks reduced
  • JPG uses lossy compression by design.
  • If quality is critical, compare with PNG output when available.
  • Keep the original HEIC file as your source archive.
  • Use the format tools to choose the right export for the job.
